I believe is that the area from Agbor to Onicha are Igbos who ended up being ruled by people with Both Igbo, Bini and Some Igala bloodlines (Igalas were known to sail down the Niger river to trade and spread their spirituality). Bini influenced the Royalty of its neighbors being the most powerful entity militarily in that region, however, the peoples of those regions arent Edo people. For example; even within Edo and Delta states there are Yorubas, Igbos, Ijaws, Esans, Etsakos, Afemai, Urhobo, Isoko, Itsekiris etc... These are all individual tribes whos monarchs may be related to Edo (Bini), but the peoples are not. One thing the Obi of Onicha said is that "even as the Obi of Onicha, he also has an Okpala-Uku whom he respects and who also respects him. Okpala-uku is one of the unifying features of Igbos societies from Igbanke to Arochukwu.

They said the first king that founded and ruled Iselukwu was the second son of Oba Eweka the first, and Eze Chima was the fifth descendant and the fifth king of Iselukwu. Please note that I am only reiterating what they said. The kings are erudite scholars who are more educated and far older than you. Even Nnamdi Kalu said it in one of his broadcast that the Igbo kings he spoke with all traced their ancestry to Bini.
