Did you know that when the Rotherham Gang were awaiting trial, the CPS senior office in charge of the case had an interview with the DPP (Keith Starmer) and the Senior CPS Manager for the Northwest of England to discuss worries about the prosecution because there were problems standing these girls up as witnesses because most of the time they were out of their heads on drugs and booze. Starmer ignored these worries, changed the then Rules on likelihood of convictions and instructed the CPS that all prosecutions should go ahead no matter what, with the result that convictions in these cases increased ten-fold. So don't blame Starmer. Ask rather why the Tories don't want action on the 2022 Report. Ask them about their wrecking Amendment at First Reading Stage of the Government Bill, you know the one with the request for a Second Enquiry tacked on at the en .
