NDIS funding links to a cult that teaches that disabilities are ‘karma’

From its base in northern New South Wales, a self-styled alternative health group called Universal Medicine has built a worldwide following but in 2018 a Supreme Court jury found Universal Medicine was a socially harmful cult led by a charlatan who vilified people with disabilities.
That hasn't stopped key promoters of the group tapping into the National Disability Insurance Scheme to treat vulnerable people.
