That perspective on med school is so interesting. I think you’d have to be really driven to thrive in such a setting. Really gotta have high intrinsic motivation to learn medicine and get good at it- enough to graduate and pass all the step exams lol

I got accepted into DO medical school and was a little hesitant because of stigma… this video helps a lot

Stigmas is on its way out homie. You are going to be a mfing DOCTOR. Keep your head up King (or Queen idk haha)

In my experience from working at the ER, DOs and MDs have the exact same responsibilities and trust…the stigma seems to stem from premeds imo

I'm a 3rd year DO student and no one cares MD vs DO. I have DO and MD preceptors and rotate with students from both MD and DO schools. We all study the same stuff

I am considering to continue for radiology. But i want to ask. Is it true that you can get cancer from radiation ?
@ajl01306 ай бұрын
You will wear lead if ever in a room with radiation exposure. Most physicians have wrap around lead aprons with thyroid shields. Some docs have lead glasses to help protect the lens of eyes. Everyone that works/ exposed to radiation will also have a dosimeter to track dose.

How old are you? I’ve been a Radiology tech for 8 years and I’m thinkin about going back to school to be a radiologist but I’m 33. Is that too old considering how long it is

“You're scared to study for 12 years because you're 33 and by the time you're done, you'd be 45. Whether you take the course or not, in 12 years time you'd still be 45.”

Wow, a radiologist with a personality who is personable (and hot ❤), I was starting to think they were all socially awkward and angry! I have to talk to these folks at work and most of them are so rude!
