This is the last session the Nashville Department of Transportation and Multimodal Infrastructure (NDOT) will host with Smart Growth America. In this session, we will discuss how Vision Zero fits into complete streets with guest speaker Tiffany Smith, Program Manager for the Vision Zero Network.
Tiffany is a public health professional who brings a passion for radical collaboration to her advocacy work. Prior to joining Vision Zero Network, she served as the Program Manager of Family Planning Services at the Institute for Family Health, where she worked with community health centers to scale up their reproductive health services and on advocacy efforts to mandate Medicaid coverage of a novel birth control method in New York State. She has developed research exploring patient satisfaction with a self-administered birth control and conducted research assessing Puerto Rico’s health needs following Hurricane Maria. Based in Queens, NY, Tiffany holds an MPH in Health Policy & Management from the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University.

The session will be led by Dustin Robertson, PhD. Dustin Robertson is a Thriving Communities Senior Program Manager at Smart Growth America. He focuses on Complete Streets and the intersections of mobility, health, and equity. His work informs best practices and research, building capacity at state and local levels across the country.
