His exceptional instrumental virtuosity is a vital part of that yes, However his musical concept, Harmonic maturity and compositions is on the level of historic greatness ( check out “ Dantesca”) His improvising is of an unexhausted flow of poetic ideas, possesing subtle dynamics, superb tone , great time feel, And a highly developed Harmonic command of variation. A Mighty Sax player like no other! It's astounding how dynamic, powerful, and well balanced Luigi's music is. He is one of the greats! The fact that he plays with people of all ages and is there to encourage them, it's wonderful. You know, musical notes played by certain individuals leave lasting impressions on the soul. He certainly brings more than just music to peoples lives.
