Magnus Lindberg's "Tempus fugit" is a video production of the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra as part of the biennial
"Elbphilharmonie Visions" Festival 2021 under the baton of Alan Gilbert. Due to the Corona pandemic in 2021 the entire festival took place online.

Incredible masterpiece, incredible performance, despite that the composer belong to our time, the music is totally a modern music, not a contemporary one , that one can expect today , I don't know if the musicians off stage are part of the performance. THANKS again to NDR orchestra for bringing us such a charming and magic concerts. BRAVO as always

there' a great musical quote from transfigured night in this piece, kind of via bernard hermann/ or somesuch lindberg imaginative process. it amazes me how orchestras still somehow play stuff like this. lock him in a room with a few miles davis drummers though for his next piece pleash.

Beautiful performance. Very tense and foreboding - I was seeing a sort of Hitchcockian movie playing in my head as I listened :-)
