Supreme Court On RG Kar Case | Supreme Court Issues Ultimatum To Doctors Who Are Protesting

During the hearing in the Kolkata Rape-Murder Case, the Supreme Court of India on September 09 ordered the protesting doctors to gate back to work by Tuesday (5:00 PM). CJI DY Chandrachud said that the doctors must not hold anybody responsible if disciplinary action is taken by the state government for not getting back to work even after the apex court’s order

I would LOVE to see Supreme Court judges and lawyers work under the same conditions of zero security and no bathroom facilities for women. I think unless they get to taste what working under such conditions entail, they can issue meaningless “orders” from behind their high chairs. The CJI’s order for doctors to go back to work lacks understanding and compassion. The highest court has lost its credibility with the people of India.

Submissions relating to tampering of evidence and administrative failure are not finding importance in court proceedings. Court seems to be only concerned about resumption of work by junior doctors. According to H'ble Supreme courr,, doctors have obligation to society. Same way learned advocates, do have obligation to siciety, NOT to represent wrong doers. Also, elected reps have MORE accountability to society, who have entrusted power in them. When sooo many blatant violations remain inexplicable, such administrator should step down. The thing is that for now the Supreme Court should pass a stay order to close Rj kar hospital working and order to shift the patient in some other hospital on rj kar hospitals expense....so that the doctors join some other hospital. Patients can be treated over there also.

I have a very relevant point,why CJI needs to take over the case from kolkata HC?Is there any unknown interest by CJI?When the hiring was going on CJI didn't even try to listen to the doctor's lawyer.He was only giving attention to sibbal,why?Each and every case from Bengal is delayed only for this hopeless CJI.The day he has done the suomoto,the judgement was very clear to our mind that this CJI will give no justice to the nation.Later people will not respect our judiciary.This CJI should resign.
