@@superman2000 The two Iaf test pilot killed during a test flight were flying mirage 2000, which is a French aircraft. Before handing over to IAF test pilots, the same mirage 2000 was tested by HAL test pilots.

Bro, it works. It's one of the most sophisticated Light Combat crafts. But many countries don't like the idea of India building its own jets, so they're trying to give it horrible PR. Think about it, if India doesn't build its own jets, its profit for US, Russia, Euro vendors and more advantageous for Pak and China.

HAL is waiting for Tejas mark 1a orders for years now. No orders from IAF. HAL Lch has got IOC. Still no orders from IAF or IA for years. HAL completed luh, got IOC in Feb 2020, yet services insist that they want Ka 226 , although it's of the same class. Even though htt40 development was almost complete, IAF was chasing Pilatus trainer. And you say HAL is holding IAF back ??
