Under Nehru, the Indian Parliament enacted many changes to Hindu law to criminalize caste discrimination and increase the legal rights and social freedoms of women. Nehru specifically wrote Article 44 of the Indian constitution under the Directive Principles of State Policy which states : 'The State shall endeavor to secure for the citizens a uniform civil code throughout the territory of India.' The article has formed the basis of secularism in India. He set up world-class higher learning institutes including All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS), Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT), Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) and the National Institutes of Technology (NIT). He setup agricultural universities later began the Green Revolution.

Dibyaranjan Mishra , 1962 was a memorable year, I alwayes remember when P.M.Jawahar Lal Nehru ,while inspecting Aicraft Manufacturing Depo, then with I.A.F. , happened to ask me abut using Hindi language , and I replied him taht " SARKAR KA AGAR HUKUM HOTA TO HINDI AOR URDU KAE GHALLECHE BICH JATE., He picked my said so fast that he immediately burst with huge laugh , and when no other present Degntaries kep mum , He ask them to laugh , alittle while after he said as to why , "IT'S INFACT MISTAKE BY US, AND I AM ASKING THE COUNTRY MEN, after it he kept placed his left hand on my sholder and walked long. Now again it was another moment when I was standing on side gatherings of Small school childrens ,and The P.M. was standing on open jeep , the moment he Saw , He hinted and came close to me and removed his garland from neck and passed it to me saying "AAP THEEK HAIN" I replied YES I AM FINE, IT'S MY REMINDER... Loving Nehru smiled and kept on , . The inner was timely connected and sence of realisation was awoked ,Govt. by then never issued implimentation order or our National language Hindi . Billions of people he may have come a cross but his memory was sharp . Love it.

Nehru was a gem...he was the first one who declared that Purna Swaraj should be the goal of congress in Lahore session in 1930....he then hoisted the tri colour🙏🙏....He spent 10 years in jail & had to bear out enormous suffering...Under Nehru's leadership All the steel factories, Bhakra nangal damn, Heavy machine industries was established....he build IIT, IIM, AIIMS, DRDO....but unfortunately today's generation are completely unaware of this events....they blame Nehru on every problem we face today....it's a shame for our young generation..

He also created the Kashmir issue by taking the Kashmir matter to UN when the indian armed forces had already told nehru that they would take pok in few days. He gifted an area of 22210 km²(kabaw valley) to Burma!! He also gifted 5 islands to Burma! (Coco islands) We lost 1962 war because of Nehru's poor tactics! Which lead to chinese occupation of akshai chin! And for one of the biggest blunders of all time: he "gifted" a permanent UNSC seat to china in UN. Now,india wants to get a permanent seat but china is the only country which is stopping them!
