Prashant Kishor Interview LIVE | PK's Lok Sabha Poll Prediction: East, South Warning For Opposition

Less than two weeks before the general election, poll strategist Prashant Kishor sounded a red alert for the Congress and INDIA opposition bloc, warning of improved performances - seats + vote share - by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Bharatiya Janata Party across six eastern and southern states.
Mr Kishor - who has guided the Congress, the Trinamool, and the Aam Aadmi Party to wins over the Prime Minister's BJP - repeated his warnings of the past - that the ruling party is not invincible.
But he also warned the opposition it is running out of chances to stop the BJP juggernaut, pointing to a string of missed opportunities between 2016 and 2018, as well as the pandemic. "If you drop catches, the batter will score a century... especially if he is a good batter," he told news agency PTI.

After conflict with nitish kumar in few topics he left working for JDU and start working for many other political parties who had defeated BJP in many states. Regarding EAG not being a constitutional body of Congress, as a hired individual for the job you should have focused on revival plan than structural change. Or else should have become a Congress member and then intervene. Being a hired professional for a specific plan, I think Prashant ji did some overstepping of his capacity and rejected the offer.

Appreciate his knowledge on the Political Analysis and the work he has begun in Bihar of educating the masses. That's the need of the hour. Mr PK, u told it happened in past but when ? In 1950 and 1960s ? How many opposition party was there? There were seats which won without competition, also in first election the ballet paper was blank paper but box had color means a person with green box will win or blue box whichever had higher blank paper on it… So when there were not enough applicant obviously congress got bigger mandate… today there are 2600 parties so u can not say BJP win and share is not important…. People should read and check first 3 election history candidate etc etc for knowledge

What Prashant isn't accounting for is that in 60s -80s the population was largely submissive, docile and worshipped "bade log". The population today has more awareness, is more fickle, more vocal and prone to dissent. There are new challenges such as managing a social media presence, having a global presence and balancing traditional with the modern - Amidst all this Modi is still able to come up a champion without coming from a politically affluent rather the first family of Indian politics...the advantage which Indira had. Thus his achievements and popularity does outshine Indiras dven if by a slither.

Many, more often than not fail to create The "points 1 & 3". 4. Demand creates inflation. If development can offset inflation price riaise will go un complained / un noticed.
