It is a very busy time for us at the moment with the purchase of a new bar today. That being said we will take care of Ed and hoping to take him away for a couple of nights here and there. We are waiting for his friend Chris to arrive sometime next week before doing this. Obviously there are a few bars/restaurants here but venture across Sukhumvit Road at the back. There’s some fabulous scenery, lake, mountains etc. and quite quirky coffee shops to spend some time in. It is really great that Eddy decided to come back to Thailand as soon as it was practical given his medical treatments. He is a man with itchy feet and wonderlust visiting so many of the world's locations and coming back to one of his favourite countries may well help in bringing his health and peace of mind to a higher level than being in cold old London town. Also great to see two good friends welcome him back here and take him to Pattaya. Plus you did a good job of describing useful aspects of the BKK airport.
