Almost every video I see the comment of “your videos are so relaxing compared to others” And I can’t disagree, I am in love with the simplicity of each video. No music, no yelling and screaming over a 3lb bass, no bullshit. Fishing is about the experience, and the escape from the modern day hustle. Nature is beautiful. I think your videos express that perfectly. Thank you. 💯❤️

okay, you have to understand who catches and releases and how frequent it is fished. if the spot is frequently fished and everyone filets the fish after the fish, then there is going to be very little fish in that spot, if there are they are very small. if you find a spot that is fished rarely or frequently and released, there are plenty and a lot of them. for example I could go to a very small pond and throw a spinner bait and catch a small mouth every fucking throw and toss it back. or i could go to a huge ass lake that is fished a shit load and not even catch a blue gill or even have a bite.

That’s a nice little lake. I wish I had those kinds of bodies of water near me. Well, I do, but they’re all polluted and there’s just carp, catfish and sheepshead(drums) in them, maybe some white bass.

Thank goodness I was not driving to or from Bismarck when you were fishing. I might have driven off the road when you were holding up that pike.

I was a little nervous being that close to the interstate in my kayak! I’ve seen semi’s in those sloughs once or twice when I used to drive that stretch for work.

If I saw NDYakAngler on the water next to the interstate, I'd throw up some traffic cones and block traffic to stop the noise lol

If I saw ND fishing, I’d slam on the brakes & run over to his vehicle and put a tracker on it! Actually I wouldn’t, I live in Chicago. His YT is my favorite fishing channel.
