Not too many fishing channels bigger than his. Not sure if it's the algorithm, might just be limited audience. If he was a 15 year old girl doing makeup tutorials he would have 15M subs lol. Seems like fishing channels top out at the half million mark, only one I know in the millions is BlacktipH, but let's be honest. If you are catching monster sharks and 600 pound groupers regularly people who dont even like fishing are watching lol.

Even if the crappies eventually swim back down the hole.. when you catch them in really deep water they will affected by barotrauma.. you can't plan to catch and release them in those deep basin spots. It's best to plan to harvest fish in that situation.

@@Skank_Hunt42 @Tom Well Tom I grew up in a small town, my family didnt have much money so we took what we could get. My dad hunted deer and feral hogs and he took me out to fish because I was too young to shoot a gun. We never poached and always supported our state by purchasing licenses and buying gear from our local store. Ive seen plenty of Asian people on our local waters poach, but not all of them. Nothing we can really do. We only took enough for dinner then fished for sport the rest of the time. I was fortunate and have a great job now, but damn I still love some bass stovetop with butter and garlic! Much more flaky then crappie.

A tip for when crappies won’t go down the whole right away, is that you have to close their mouths. Other wise they just sit there. Try closing their mouths and they should go back down. Always works for me.
@carlsonmn3 жыл бұрын
I agree I learned that years ago they seem to go into shock with their mouths open. Close their mouth and they seem to wake up and with a good drop they often are able to swim back down even caught from 30-35 foot depths. Confirmed on my underwater camera and they seem to be doing well.
