I'm learning nuclear energy by myself to get a job on it. this series of lectures are also valuable to me for studying English. I appreciate this channel!!

I'm doing the same. Did you find a job this year, mate?. I am currently applying to one, and I want to know about your experience.

which tool/software do you use to write in this video. I am a teacher and want to be able to do so.

I'm creating/doing an exercise based on the Demon Core experiments and I'm looking to see if I can compute the minimum distance the hemisphere neutron reflectors/shields need to be separated to prevent criticality. Is this the right video series to look through to understand the problem well enough to ask the right questions? I'm fortunate enough to understand the math, calculus and probability, but not necessarily the nuclear physics part. Hope you can help. Thanks for uploading!

Hello! Yes, this series will give you some background that you need to create that exercise. The material progresses gradually towards what you need for that kind of exercise, but I would especially recommend reviewing Lectures 9 (kzbin.info/www/bejne/pXS4mWyBfMqCqck) and 11 (kzbin.info/www/bejne/pGbOgoptqsaqick). Cheers!

How mean free path = 1 / εtotal ? Is the equation dimensionally correct?

cross section is in units of inverse distance isn't it

Hi :-) , many be you already knew now. The cross-section unit is in area, /m^2. In nuclear engineering, the frequently used unit is 'barn', it is /10^-28 m^2. If hitting this area is considered as the nuclear reaction happened, the area size indicates the probability of reaction. @@haydnistheman
