Brutal material even for a Highschool kid None the less good teaching.

Just a regular guy with a high school diploma here, trying to learn a couple of things about nuclear technology. The MIT Open Courseware courses are super - extremely smart folks that are adept at explaining complex concepts in a clear & approachable way. Your descriptions are terrific for the same reason. A huge "thank you" for making the investment in these videos - now it makes sense why the gamma ray geeks keep referring to "barns". Content like this is why the Internet is such a valuable tool: One person's intelligence helping others get a little bit smarter themselves.

I'm happy to hear that you're enjoying these lectures! This is exactly what I'm trying to achieve - making nuclear engineering topics more accessible for everybody! I hope to upload some lectures on general nuclear technology topics after I finish uploading material for my courses, so stay tuned!

At 8:00: in the middle of the page, the uncollided flux is the exponent with a plus, not one minus the exponent.
