I learned a lot from his Garen videos, I'm garen main with more than 300k mastery points lvl 7 and unless I get counterpicked a lot with Garen (vayne, akshan, quinn, ..) I always win my lane (even mid sometimes against irelia/yasuo/yone/kata/akali/zed) but in ranked, I get some teammates that sometimes, well feed hard the botlane (tried to tp sometimes but they just give up on me and they sacrifice me to get away and back xD) so I'm still learning and trying to learn other champs too and Neace's videos helped A LOT !!!

But teamfighting is based on teammates doing their job. While leaning and macro make you get ahead to the point it doesn't matter. I feel like solo queue is more like try to pick an enemy splitting while your adc is getting caught somewhere

I’m a simple man, I see Neace, I click. For those of you with ranked anxiety (if there are any), put on some music that you enjoy (if you play league listening to music), and hit up the practice tool to practice CSing (107 farm by 10 min) before you start the climb for the day. It’ll warm up your hands, and get you thinking about farm and how to play the lane. The best way to get through it is to continually play games. Duoing can help if you have a good buddy that you want to climb with in the pre-masters ranks, but it doesn’t help you enter ranked games by yourself. The same principle applies to de-tilting. Take a deep breath, and hit up the practice tool a couple of times and assess if you’re in the mindset to continue ranking.

You're not training for the olympics, it's a game. I mean now granted if you are making money off of the game in some capacity this sounds reasonable, but if this is just for fun... I mean are you going to look back on your life when you are on your deathbed and think to yourself "It was a great life, I can CS with the best of them". I'm not trying to be mean, this just sounds absolutely crazy to me. Perhaps something more productive could be done with that time.

@@adamconner9302 yeah, you could not improve at the game and do whatever you want to do bud. There are more things to life than a video game, but if you want to do well at something, you practice doing it. CS is your most reliable form of gold and xp.

@@googlepoodle5814 Maybe there's an age disparity. I'm definitely not as young as I once was. The thing is if I spend that time practicing CS I won't get to actually play the game. I can't sit and grind for hours and hours at a time due to responsibilities. It's like I understand your point, I just think it's crazy taking it to that extreme if you aren't getting something more than lp from it. I guess you can get an ego boost from an uptick in elo but I just don't see much efficiency there beyond that unless you are making money off of the game in some capacity. To each their own though right.

@@adamconner9302 it’s the difference between caring if you’re good at the game or not. You get a skin reward at gold, but beyond that you just get chromas and a recall chroma when you hit challenger. You can take pride in what you’ve achieved, and strive to get better, or you can casually play it and not give a shit. No one is telling you how to play the game, you’re watching a coaching of your own accord. If 10min before a game breaks your ability to play the game, then idk what to tell you bud, playing league in ranked probably isn’t for you. There are champions in this game that require you to practice in the practice tool to get the combos down before you can even play them at a proficient level. You can learn them by playing games, but you’ll be losing most of the time and spending FAR more time trying to learn them than you would in the practice tool. The same with CSing, especially with scaling champions. You’ll win more the closer you are to 10 CS/min than 1 CS/min.

Started the game on Jan 18, just shy of 3 weeks ago. I'm so glad I stumbled across one of Neace's videos earlier this week. I've already jumped from feeding almost constantly in every role to being 2nd highest kills playing top (Garen) in blind queue tonight. My biggest dilemma at this point is figuring out how far out to schedule a coaching session so that I've already absorbed a the bulk of what he's sharing here for free first.

Just for future reference for newer Renekt players 1 always auto in between abilities, this goes double if you went PTA as you can auto, w, q, auto e auto e and that wins like every trade against squishy bruisers. 2 if you have under 50 fury you can use abilities to gain more fury(EXCEPT 2nd dash), a good trade I like to do is to E in when I have like 45 fury which gives me the 50 fury that empowers my next ability so I can Q to heal and E away for a short trade OR I can use my empowered W for an all in. 3 You can use R or the whip/goredrinker active item to animation cancel your W so it would look something like this without whip: E on them with 45 fury to get 50 fury then empowered W, immediately R, auto, Q and dash through them to chase or away if the 2nd dash kills them with whip: E on them with 45 fury to get 50 fury then empowered W, immediately whip, auto, R, Q and auto dash away or through them to chase 4 when you have whip or goredrinker you can insta clear waves by Eing thru the wave, whip then Q(dont Q then whip as it is slower/wonkier and less efficient) then E back thru the wave 5 If you are going PTA because you win the matchup then you should always take ignite and domination 2ndary with taste of blood and rav hunter, you'll snowball way harder, but this is my opinion. Also I believe in a matchup where you win that you take PTA, you should build eclipse, bork and black cleaver, reason being is the HP %dmg synergy between all the items combined with your W that applies on hits means you 1 shot anyone you empowered W into combo that isnt full tank and even the tanks will take some serious dmg if they arent full armor, but again this is my opinion. @@enrique7343 Id def say auto Q is faster and will be better in most situations as that auto could be the diff in you using a empowered Q/W or not, but you kinda wanna do both? you wanna start trades with an auto, but after the Q you wanna auto again, you constantly wanna weave an auto in when ever you can, so like this: Auto, Q, auto, W, R, auto E auto E auto add in whip/gore after the W to get another auto before you ult so like this: Auto, Q, Auto, W, Whip/Gore, Auto, R, Auto, E, Auto, E and Auto resolve is better vs tanks like Shen or people you feel like you wont get an early kill on easily or in matchups that dont favor you, id say most of the time you'd want PTA with domination vs ranged or mage matchups and Conq with resolve into tanks like Ornn and Shen(an exception is Morde who you want to treat like a mage and run the PTA+Dom tree, the matchup is actually heavily in your favor, just try to get 50 fury and save empowered W for his shield if possible) and I dont recommend full AD builds as Renekt has good synergy with tank items due to his ult giving him extra HP which makes those defensives more valuable, I recommend reguardless of which runes you go, you do 3 offensive items, 2 tank items and steelcaps or mercs. the tank items i like are thorn combod with spirit which works really well with the conq build and steraks plus gargoyles for the PTA build. The best thing you can do for your team to try and help them across the map is if you get ahead of your opponent and you know their jg is on the other side of the map, shove ur wave and steal their jg camps, this will help put the jg behind and take a bit of pressure off your team, you kinda just wanna become a huge threat that takes all of their resources to deal with you, pay attention to lvls, if you are lvl 14 and see a lvl 10, try to get on them as if you do you'll just 1 shot them most of the time especially if you're going full ad and dont throw ur lead just to get a kill, it's not worth it, only try to take the kills you're fairly sure you wont die for. You can split push pretty well especially if you go bork so you can try to win that way by just forcing the enemy team to back to deal with you, you waste their time which might prevent them from taking drag or baron or let your team farm a bit, all you wanna do while splitting is not die and watch the map, if you dont see the enemies run to safety, if you see them all in bot, push as hard as you can until you get them to come deal with you or risk losing an inhib.

Forgot to comment on your previous video but your tips on laning helped me out a lot. Only started playing toplane this season and knowing when to push/back/roam/split/teamfight made it so that even when I lose lane I very often manage to win.

Abilities that don't target but do or don't draw aggro are weird. I didn't know that about Tryn's spin but here's an example using Kayle, a champ I am extremely familiar with: her Q. Her arrow slow skill shot that you have to aim just like Tryn's spin. If her Q lands directly on a champion first, then you draw aggro. But if you hit a minion and get splash damage then it doesn't draw aggro. Then her E, which after level 11 has splash damage will draw aggro even if you E the tower. But I wasn't aware that Tryn's spin didn't draw aggro at all so apparently it's very champion-specific. That's neat

I always had a problem on rene when it comes to pushing I want to freeze but i also know that i need to hit minions to stack up my fury

Freezing is the best way to get full fury. your fury takes time to drop, in that time you already do 1 basic attack so you don't lose it. And when you don't use abilities, and you keep attacking minions every 5secs you will not lose fury. But when you use 1 ability (besides Q) you will lose everything.

I usually like these coaching sessions, but this one seems very lackluster, I mean, the client was doing well on his own, but your coaching sessions are, what, 200 bucks? Idk if it's fair to the client you grab your kitty during the coaching and don't actually coach at all. No offense, just a bit weird to me :)

By default the stop (literally stops champion movement) key bind is S. The recommendation is to press S on the minion you are about to kill (presuming your champion is now positioned very close to the minion), then press the A key to auto attack

If you go back and watch, you'll notice the Trynd tanks huge damage from the minion wave renekton has built up. Waiting until Trynd autos basically confirms the success of the dive and guarantees like 100-200 extra damage

I don't agree with going for the flanks when he pushed botlane.. with demolition he could have destroyed tower and inhib in like 10-15 seconds, the guys would have no chance to react. flanking is too slow and inconsistent
