Neal Morse sings, writes the songs, plays keyboards and occasional guitar. He's made around 20 prog albums and the occasional non-prog one since the year 2000, almost all of of them with Mike Portnoy on drums. They became buddies due to Neal leaving Spock's Beard and Mike leaving Dream Theater around the same time. As well as Neal's band they are also both in Transatlantic and Flying Colors. Check out anything else by them - if you liked this one, you can't go wrong really. The Great Despair Live in BRNO would be another good pick.
