Nice vid mate.I regularly fish for Golden Snapper at night in FNQ. 65cm is the average size, got two a couple of weeks back, one 83 cm and 75cm. They are a spectacular fish.

At 10:00 the fish is called by heaps of names iodine bream, slatey, morwong, painted sweetlip or mother in law

In the NT there is no size limit that I know of with Golden Snapper. Only a handful of species have a size limit in the NT. They do have a possession limit though. 3 per person I reckon it is. My boat is just a baby mate. 4.75 metres. 👍🏻🤠

That's silvery fish that you did not know what it was it's called a morwong or some people call it a mother-in-law fish

June July and August are lovely here. Almost zero chance of rain. Sunny, warm days. It cools down a bit for nights. I’ve only been to Dundee once.
