“Near Catastrophic? Not Even CLOSE” Mike Graham Doubts Prince Harry and Meghan Car Chase Claims

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were involved in a “near-catastrophic” car chase while being followed by paparazzi in New York, the couple’s spokesperson said.
They were in the city on Tuesday with Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, for an event at which the duchess received an award.
The three of them are said to have been subjected to a “relentless pursuit” involving half a dozen blacked out vehicles.
Mike Graham is joined by security expert Will Geddes for his reaction to the story.
Mike says: “Both NYPD and the Mayor of New York have said they do not recognise the description of this as a near-catastrophic incident, so I’m going to call it a not catastrophic incident.”

The random woman on the street who witnessed what was said and done at the beginning of the chase has been previously I interviewed by the press as a Meghan fan.

they were also in excess of the speed limit. also if they drove at speed for 2 hours (which is impossible) firstly, did the taxi stop to refuel? and secondly they would have ended up in phylidelphia

I don't live in New York City, but I've visited many times. I once watched a "code red" ambulance ... full siren and lights ... have to wait 2 cycles of the corner stop light, to go ONE block. I could walk a 2 hour "chase" at that rate.

Caty, I have visited NYC and seen the same with a fire engine in full sirens and lights, moving the same way. Barely moving through 2 traffic lights. It just couldn't move. Full 4 lanes of stopped, slow traffic. It was amazing to see.

another channel has stated that they called backgrid, the paps of choice of markle, and they confirmed that she had called them and that this was a set up for a pr stunt

The paps were from BACKGRID, Meghan's favorite paps-for-hire. They hired BACKGRID to take romantic photos of them inside their Frogmore home for their doc. BACKGRID does most of their CA pap shots. The random woman on the street who witnessed what was said and done at the beginning of the chase has been previously I interviewed by the press as a Meghan fan.

They should be charged for staging an event without permission on the streets of New York. They had to use a taxi so their people in the SUV'S pretend paps could try to get pictures of them. No one interested in having their pictures
