As a muslim, we must believe that after death, there is no contact between the soul and the living except for the prayers of a soleh/dutiful children, his or her sedekah/charity and good deeds . What she sees are the qarins that God has created with each birth of a human being as a companion to the person. It is a jin that may be good or bad depending on the human being s inclinations.

Thank you Lynn, very interesting spiritual experiences. I believe your story, because I ever had spiritual encounters, though different from yours. Being a Toaist, Buddhist , I know the spirit world is deep and complex. Not so simple. I chant Buddhist matras every morning for protection. I also pray to Buddhas to help spirits to reincarnate. My home is so peaceful now and all my sons are becoming better people. Previously my sons were rebellious and my home often had knockings on doors and windows. My room cupboard, every night had tapping noises, until I got a talisman from a Toaist Temple to rid that off.
