Absolutely riveting and beautifully sung.....my favorite all of my life...after my Dad had me on his knee, each of us kids...he taught us about the Titanic......This song I had sung at his funeral....and twill be sung at my Mum's and My own funeral as well.. Thanks so sharing...God Bless Ken from Orlando, Florida, USA

Thank you for listening, Ken. Let's hope that it will not be sung at a funeral for many years! Best wishes from Cambridge, UK

This hymn has become famous as it was played by the orchestra on the Titanic as it sank. I'm not sure if it was in the movie but I think it must have been. Thanks for the congratulations. It has been a long journey and I suppose my next milestone will be 1 million views. Most of my views are for songs rather than piano. In my old age I am finding learning new pieces and making recordings with a minimum of mistakes increasingly difficult. It's difficult to get views and subscribers for piano and if I calculate my views for piano they are nowhere near your total in a much shorter time, so you are doing very well and will reach 1000 a long time before I did. ~John~

Thank you, John! I remember you saying this was used in Titanic. Actually I meant to leave my comment on Spinning Wheel (your newest one). I watched it early yesterday...and later, when I went to go comment I must of gotten confused with the videos! Haha :) Anyway, have a nice Sunday!

John ,just a thought , I think 'the spinning wheel' would be ideal for your style of Singing -check out the Delia Murphy version ( crackly , but simple and melodic) Best wishes Alan and maggie

Maggie and Alan: Thank you for the suggestion. I have listened to Delia Murphy's version but find it rather un-harmonious. I listened to some other versions and enjoyed them and would like to have a go at it myself. I never know if a song will suit my voice until I've learned and recorded it but I hope it will turn out ok. Best wishes to you both ~John~
