TI 89 Titanium used to be my favorite. TI 92 Plus is easily my most favorite calculator now simply because of its display, ergonomic and qwerty keyboard, which makes programming a mile better than TI 89 while still retaining pretty much all the features of the 89 Titanium. Though the voyage 200 was the successor to the 92 Plus and in a much more compact form factor, it didn't feel as good ergonomically, in my opinion. The ergonomics is subjective, and I strongly doubt you'd have any regret choosing either the 92 Plus or Voyage 200. The only difference is the case design, more memory and storage in favor of the Voyage 200. You can hardly tell the difference in speed. 89, 89 Titanium, 92 Plus, and Voyage 200 are essentially the same calculators. Because of the first 2 having a small screen with relatively small fonts, that was a deal breaker for lots of people. The most advanced calculator right now would be the Nspire CX II Cas in my opinion. HP Prime G2 is great, but the bugs and unpredictability of it make it hard to recommend. TI Nspire just works and has most of the features the HP Prime offers. The biggest highlight of the Prime is really its speed. It's unbelievably fast; even the first gen prime from 2013 is way faster than the CX II Cas (2018). To sum up, TI has a more refined, bug free software and can do most of the stuff the HP does, plus more. HP Prime is an excellent calculator, but the software has a VERY frustrating learning curve, and the bugs will most certainly hinder your experience if you often deal with advanced expressions. Both calculators have well thought features specific to them.

@@calculator_boy you are totally right. I also have ti 89 titanium which i always liked only complain was keys not suitable for programs. But now i use CX cas and it is much better with almost same syntax. I have never used HP prime but wanting to buy it then i used its android emulator and to me it was way more difficult to learn. I think TI has easiest menu system and buttons. I wish it had bigger and touch display with dragging and pinch zoom features. Thanks for the detailed reply. Really appreciated.

I absolutely love Numworks calculator, it has so much potential due to active development. The most advanced is HP 50g in my opinion.

I have the same problem as you. Lol. I love programmable computers, that pretend to be calculors. Lol. I collect calculors too. I have a Ti89, Ti titanium, Ti inspire 2, HP 33S, HP48SX, Hp50g, HP prime g2, and also a few others. I am fascinated by them. I am a ex Nuclear engineer in the Navy. I once wrote a simulator of my Nuclear Reactor using an HP48SX, using equations that they gave us, all the other engineers were impressed because it was accurate. Lol My favorite calculator by far is the HP50g. True Rpn, probably the best HP calculator. The prime is super fast though... I use Emu48 on my S21 Ultra. I set it up to emulate an Hp50g, it's super fast that way. I love Emu48. My phone does 108 mflops. Lol It's super fast, I got the 189 page user manual for the HP 50g, off of ebay. Still want to get a Voyage 200 though.

Love to hear it! I'm still wanting the 50g but not willing to spend close $200 on it lol. Emu48 is by far the best emulator for hp enthusiasts. For TI enthusiasts, 'Graph 89' is the way to go. It's about $4 and has the 89, 92 Plus, Voyage 200 and a lot more. I made a video about it. Also, all my programming videos were made using Graph 89.

I just got my HP50g. It was in its original case when it came, and it was well taken care if, not one scratch, that I could see. But it was just $100.

I don't understand why you make a comparison between too old calculators!, and I think they are discontinued. This year is 2022 if you don't know.
