NOTE: No matter who's at fault at the incident between the BMW E36 and the motorbike, it is UNACCEPTABLE to personally harass someone in the comments! Claiming that one or the other should be banned at the track is in this case not acceptable, neither the motorbiker nor the E36 driver had the intent to have a collision. People make mistakes and it's always easy for keyboard warriors to comment on something that already happened and cannot be changed. Fortunately it went the way it did, since it could have been a lot worse. Let's all be nice to each other!
@markmcgrath90983 жыл бұрын
What I thought was interesting and a sign of good intention of the e36 driver was that he slowed down and waved the motorcyclist over to the side of the track. Could have easily driven on and left them behind but instead chose to pull over and I assume sort the matter out. That is admirable.

the motorcyclist is BAD. driving like he is the only one on the road. Did not signal when he changed lanes. Yes, Public highway, public toll road. Use left turn signal when passing. Use Right turn signal to indicate you see the faster car and are staying to the Right. Slow; stay to the right. Motorcyclists think they are fast and special. On the Ring they are BAD, and slow.
@CorridorCulprit3 жыл бұрын
@@dafrasier1 are the rules at the ring actually like that with lanes and changing ect? Here at tracks you're allowed to keep your line and the faster car has to pass appropriately without interfering with others lines. But I also think it's real stupid to allow both cars and bikes at the same time on a track, but I guess that's an entire different conversation.
@dafrasier13 жыл бұрын
@@CorridorCulprit "Public Toll Road" that is why anyone can pay the toll and drive. Tourist drives. (rules/ suggestions/ It is a Public Road! ) Yes, two lanes, one way, no speed limit: well except at the Breidscheid exit / entrance; but few obey. There are speed signs on the straight before you get off to pay the toll again. Yes two lanes; only pass on the left. Supposed to use turn signal to pass; few do. Good to use right turn signal for faster cars coming. Yes I see you and am trying to stay to the right. Sometimes new drivers have a difficult time at speed staying to the right, they are off the fast line. Few actually use turn signals. I think it is safer and FASTER if people use turn signals. Faster cars must rely on experience, and the motion of the slower cars; like they move right but do not signal. Some drivers have Great eye sight and can see when the slower drive looks in the side view mirror. (not me) German, or European motorcyclists will flick their right foot out to indicate it is okay to pass. Why I do not know. Turn signals on bikes almost never used. and yes bikes are limited on the Ring. Good. August is Vacation month in Europe and the Ring is a Zoo on weekends in August. If there is a bad crash between two or more cars, the police will respond and investigate and the Ring is closed until the crash is cleared. Public Road. If you did not use your turn signal the Police will take that into account. If you passed on the right. If you were over 130 kph.

There’s too much risk of losing control of the back end of the car on the ripple strips. Doesn’t matter who is driving or what they’re driving. If it’s racing then go for it but in road cars with no racing safety equipment you’re just unjustified in increasing the risk like that.
