Man, I hope we get a Werewolf by Night collection that includes the utterly forgotten Marvel Comics Presents tale from issues 54-59, by Len Kaminski and James Fry. Fry’s artwork is gorgeous, and beautifully captures co-creator Mike Ploog’s style. Mike Ploog. Sigh, what an underrated artist. I once went to an exhibit of Guillermo del Toro’s private art collection, and he had several original pieces by Ploog. They were a wonder to behold.

Generation X should go to at least volume 6. There were 75 issues in the main series so that leaves 28 issues uncollected in the epics plus one more annual. I'm not sure about crossovers from this era of X-Men but they may even stretch it out to volume 7 depending on what else needs to be collected.

Honestly as a 90s kid, and a FF fan you get fed the main 4 runs to read and there isn't any mention of the era between Lee/Kirby and Byrne or Byrne and Waid etc, but I loved this era between Lee/Kirby and Byrne. Is it perfect? No, tropey,? You bet! But my god was it fun to read and its why I love FF, it can couple these really great heartwarming family moments, self-reflection for the characters, but also had these crazy adventures that defy convention and this era is chock full of it. Like Texas Twister😂.

I thought FF was pretty consistent between the Kirby/Lee run and the Byrne run.

@@ryanwilliams7639 its certainly more consistent then people give it credit, my only issue with it, is a few issues here and there, but otherwise I love it.

I like the stuff between Lee/Kirby and Byrne, especially when John Buscema, George Perez or Keith Pollard were the artists. The only run that's a mess to me is the Moench and Sienkiewicz run but at least it's interesting
