Neat Circular MEI Hydraulic Scenic Elevator [Car 2] Westfield WTC - New York, NY

[Recorded July 2023] This is the other circular elevator located on the opposite end of the Oculus from the other car. This one was also installed by MEI and features interesting Innovation fixtures. These are really cool custom installations and they also have quiet but nice dry-powered motors. This car was significantly harder to film because it was very busy. The second ride would've been perfect if it wasn't for those two absolutely stupid girls who had no idea where they were going...

Awesome cylinder elevator! Levelling seems pretty slow, but I love glass lifts! The beep is annoying though when the doors are closing, being that it closes very slowly.

Oculus looks beautiful. I need to get back there. The old WTC shopping concourse was so cool though. Did you see the surviving walkway and doors from the old WTC? Supposed to be between Oculus and 5 train entrance.

Another epic elevator. Interesting door close beep behavior. Does that count as nudge mode or nah? Anyways, IMO MEI should get some more sounds for inside the elevator besides that loud beep they use for everything… Other than that, amazing elevator with more awesome looking door equipment! Those girls were so clueless 😭 (also why are they hanging me from the ceiling on the lower level… [cool giant flag!])
