Neato D6 Botvac Connected Unboxing:Setup

Decided to finally upgrade from my Neato XV Signature Pro. I was going to go with the D7 but saving 400.00 for the same technology made more sense to me. This is my unboxing and setup of the new D6 Botvac Connected.

When naming the vacuum and pushing next 3 little dots pop up and then a couple minutes later the same thing happens. Press next again and still nothing.

Thank you for this video. It was very helpful when we were having issues getting ours to pair up. He's now working fine. We called him Kevin because...well...for no reason, actually. He just seemed like his name should be Kevin. =D

Maybe 2-3 minutes max. Its great. I just bought the D7 for my main floor. Now I have the D6 on the second floor, D7 on main floor, and XV-21 still going strong after 4 years in my basement.

It's not a poor man roomba, it just that roomba is overpriced and not as nearly as good as Neato.

I agree. I absolutely love these and have bought the new versions up until the D8. I tried the D8 and D10 but they’re not as good of quality and performance as my D7

Actually, I'm not thinking "why you have a robot vacuum when you can vacumm",, I've had robot vacumm for almost 15 years (first roomba in 2006), I'm actually thinking "how come doesn't everyone have one of those?" I currently have 3 working each level of my house, one roomba, one neato and one xiaomi.. I can't live without these no more... 😁 Geat video 👍

Does the phone wifi need to be connected 2.4 GHz for app to work?

Nope. You can turn the vacuum on from anywhere once it’s setup in the app. I frequently turn it on on my way home from work so it’s clean when I get home. Works great! It’s on sale right now at bed bath and beyond as well.
