I love my D6. I bought it a few weeks ago and I haven't had to do anything except empty the dust bin. It cleans VERY well.

Wonderful machine🌼 I can't believe I waited this long to buy a robot vacuum cleaner. Very effective, can operate unit from my phone, the APP is wanting, but the unit is flawless. Powerful suction and relatively quite compared to others.

For anyone watching this in Europe or at least Germany, Google Assistant Voice control is not working there with Neato Robots, support confirmed that it is not available in Germany and there are currently no plans to support Google Assistant for the German market. Very sad, apparently Alexa works though but I don't own Alexa.

I got the D6 as a present. Out of the box the bot would NOT connect to the Neato servers (why that is needed I do not know). User support tried to be helpful but to no avail. They suggested: 1. Use a mobile hot spot to connect the bot (I didn't have one right away but ultimately found one on my Surface Pro) 2. Set the bot to a fixed IP address 3. Set port forwarding for two specific ports 4. Add the IP address of the bot to the DMZ Are you kidding me? Well, I finally got it attached to my WiFi and their servers, but that would only last for 2 days, after which the bot was offline. Getting it back online required a huge rigmarole. What a PITA. They should look to Nest on how to connect devices. No pain, no strain, and NONE of the crap suggested in 1-4 above. Took the bot back.

We bought our Neato D6 ~2 years ago now and used it maybe half a dozen times. Also got the 3-year warranty - doubt that is much good though. We've had problems with it connecting to WIFI a few times. Now I've spent a few hours, again, connecting with their tech support, but that hasn't worked either. I think it's going into the trash next, or maybe to the grandsons to dismantle and learn how not to build something. I would rather vacuum by my human powered efforts than battle with this crappy technology. It is too bad that something that should be a simple machine has so many issues. I give it a -10 points, for the competence of the people that created it. And to have to connect to the internet in order to vacuum the floor is ridiculous. There are no manual controls. My wife hates the thing, and it didn't clean very well anyway. I wonder if the company is still in business as the tech support person indicated, "First of all we have to very sadly make the announcement that Neato Robotics is not longer trading as a company." I think it's no great loss if they are gone now. I should have saved the $200 it cost us and spent it elsewhere.

Hi is there any difference between the D5 Neato because currently on Amazon they seem to have the same spec of battery and swirl pick up ? Just a quick question if you know the answer thank you

They have the same moter and battery I think though the older ones have shorter battery life

The D7 will have a few extras, the main one being zone cleaning (when its released) so you can send it to a room and just have it clean that room or area rather than having to do the whole house.

Tbh they are nearly all the same. Main difference is battery life, but that doesn't really matter worh recharge and resume

Neatos are straight up garbage, mine broke within the first year and support did not fix it. Asked me to pay for new batteries and I did and they sent batteries that dont fit. Dont buy, terrible product with terrible support.
