@mscarteaux this was originally done by jackson 5 (you can find original song on youtube) then this version is a remix by a guy named Matt Jamison but it is NOWHERE to be found on line. Trust me, I've looked. The only way to get it is by downloading sound recording software. I used software called Audacity.

um, not really sure. the way i got this song is i found it on myspace and used a sound recorder to get it cause it wasn't downloadable. and last i checked, it wasn't on myspace anymore. so i don't know what to tell ya, it's an incredibly difficult song to find. maybe contact HuskerVision or something.

Hang in there. I don't think Snyder will turn things around completely, but I think KSU will be competetive again. I didn't get to see the KSU - NU game but I heard that KSU had NO energy before the game and the only time they showed life was during that INT for a TD. Then after that is was fast downhill. Snyder will bring back that energy similar to how Bo brought it back to Nebraska.

@JKM070 Yeah it's cool. had we won a national championship I may be doing some "gloating" too. I was definately rooting for Bama to beat Texas. I have always had great respect for Bama and their rich tradition. I can't say I'm a Saban fan. I don't hate him, but there is something about him where he just comes off as a not so likeable guy. also didn't help that he looked PISSED when he got dumped with Gatorade. Either way he is a damn good recruiter and (college) coach.

And if Nebraska takes care of their own business, we don't have to root for any other team. I wanted Bama to win cause I thought Texas stole the big 12 championship from us. And whether Texas won the championship or not really had NO bearing on Nebraska. All that matters is Nebraska and beating the teams in front of them.

You have no knowledge of how the bowl system was set up back then. Back then it was the Bowl Coalition and it was the ROSE BOWL'S FAULT that penn state didn't get a chance to play for a championship. They REFUSED to be a part of the system so the AP and the coaches poll were contractually obligated to vote Nebraska #1 if they beat Miami. That's what happened.
