They need to be giving a speech, the awards that are given out have such meaning and the ties and roots from the family means a lot. I’d be upset if someone didn’t say anything after they got an award that honored a family member that did a lot for the program and helped it get to the glory that Nebraska football was at for a long time

When Coach Rhule was talking about his mom fighting for 10 more minutes with her family it made me think of my own mother, who died last year of Parkinson's Disease. She fought long and hard and at the very end she was straining and gasping for every breath, until she finally could fight no longer. She was my warrior and put me first ahead of herself for my entire life. I don't know who or what I'd be without her. God bless her heart.

Can't help but tear up when Coach Rhule talked about his mother-in-law fighting for just 10 minutes with her grandchildren. I lost my mom to breast cancer in February and she fought for a year and a half just for an extra day, an extra hour, an extra second with us and I am eternaly grateful for her teaching me how to fight, and teaching me what it means to be a husker fan. Thank you Coach Rhule for teaching these young men the important things in life.
