Lots of cool roadside attractions! I remember driving thru Nebraska as a teenager and my dad letting me drive because he didn’t think I could hurt anything because there wasn’t anything there.

If you love that danish community, you should check out The tulip festival in Pella Iowa. The first weekend in May. It is also a Dutch community and they have a large windmill too.

I stayed at the hotel long ago, the Pump and Pantry was not there. They stuck us in the corner room and it was dirty to say the least. I slept on top of the covers. A Dog slept outside our room the entire night and chased us for a long while when we left, I am sure he wanted us to take him with.. if we were not on motorcycles we may have. 😂

We happened upon the Holy Family Shrine just off I 80 between Lincoln and Omaha. Though we couldn’t go inside, it was a beautiful place, chapel and Grotto in the middle of a corn field

When you go back to Iowa go during May to Pella IA during the tulip festival and there is an amazing Danish bakery there with all kinds of goody's to try!!

Loved seeing the presidents. Outside of Williamsburg they had all the presidents in a nicely shaded area and each president had a button you pressed to learn some history about them. Too bad, I guess not enough people came because later they were gone. And yes, the busts did very much resemble the real person. Norfolk had them too before they ended up at Williamsburg.
