Have Tube from above the Wye since I was a teenager. And you're right, this river is a workout! 💯 Low water or high water levels, you're working!! But it is lot's of fun! And what a perfect day you guy's picked for that 58 degree water.

Did thus hubby and kids about 15 yrs ago! Sooo fun! We all loved it. Loved hearing the laughter🤣🤣 I believe that tree is a mimosas. It has pink bloom that's kind of feather like. It a more tropical tree but does grow in area. I lived in Ky and we had big one in our yard.❤️❤️❤️❤️

We did this 2 years ago. Glad you enjoyed it. The level of enjoyment is directly related to the water level. Our trip took about 4 hours as we drug ourselves over rock because the water was so low. Thanks for sharing!

When water is a bit higher, less navigating....for me, I find the river very relaxing, not tense at all! Lots of nature & houses on the river to see, water is refreshing, crystal clear and cool, makes a hot day so pleasant! Plus wonderful, different smells as you go by different things growing. Priceless!

This is a lot of fun. I did this last Summer when I took a Weekend Trip to Maryville and Townsend. I got the river stick and it definitely helped me push off the rocks and the riverbank and helped me kinda gage how deep the water was in the areas . If you have kids it's definitely a good idea to get the tethers to connect your tubes to keep your group together.

That looks so fun! I like to relax more too. Maybe if the water level was a little higher you wouldn’t drag the bottom so much but then you might go faster. I would definitely get one of those sticks if I couldn’t bring my own. Glad y’all had a fun time.

Love your videos! We were in Pigeon Forge 8/20 to 8/27 and tried this river tubing (among other things) based on your video because it looked like so much fun! It was very fun but 1 and done. Water level was low when we went and it was alot of hard work. Way more than I wanted to do lol. We also saw snakes and my kids lost it and got river rescued. Looking forward to more of your adventures!!

Did that river rat tubing with my son and daughter. We had a great time. If anyone is going to do it, remember that the water is ice cold. 2 hrs of relaxing and having a great time. Recommend to do it . 👍 you will see a lot of nice cabins and some of them are rentals.
