Pitt is deserving of that spot. We both lost to SMU but we got swept and they went 5 sets. They are hitting .345 for the season. We don’t need to be #1. We just need to be a top 4 seed to play at home through the first 2 rounds.

FYI: a team's hitting percentage normally goes down when playing top ten opponents. Maybe there's a reason for their hitting percentage.

The Husker ladies have won against more top 10 teams, they Deserve to by #1 at the end of the Season! No matter how many sets lost against SMU. Go Big Red🙌❤️🏐

Not arguing that they don’t deserve it. Just saying that I understand why Pitt is still #1 and also that it really doesn’t matter. We’ll be a top seed in the tournament.

@@kimclark3297 If the only reason the voters have Pitt ahead of Nebraska is because they both lost to SMU Pitt in 5 and Nebraska in 3 that is really lame reasoning. They need to look at the whole body of work and SOS throughout the season. Unfortunately for Nebraska the sequence of the loss to SMU kept Pitt #1 and most do not drop a #1 if they keep winning. Again, who you win against and how you win should be considered.

I agree. Pitt is a good team but when you compare their schedule to Nebraska’s schedule it’s not even close. I’m ok with us being #2, and getting a 1 seed in the tournament though. Nebraska will be battle tested and take care of business and Pitt will not be.
