I was feeling very badly seeing all of the Nebraska players in tears, and then seeing their coach break down I began to feel differently about it all. I can somewhat expect the players to be that way, but when none of them congratulated Iowa on winning and especially their coach, who should be setting the example of being a class act, had no praise for Iowa’s win…that showed me the poor sportsmanship that is obviously being instilled into them by her. Very disappointing! No respect for that program.

They played a hard game and I thought they were going to win judging by their first half, but Iowa never quits. There was only one suggestion from what we saw on tv, early in the 1st half, there were 4-6 players up from their seats dancing. I would have saved that for the 2nd half when the game is fully under control. It's easy to be that happy when everything is going right, but not so much when it's in peril.
