I gave the largest amount of my votes to Spain. Zorra was one of the few songs that jumped out to me initially, and I only love it more and more with every listen. ❤

This song was entirely written by Mery, the vocalist. It is an autobiography about how she has felt marginalised from society. “Zorra” literally means vixen, it is also used as “slut” tho, whereas “zorro”, the male version, is used to describe a man who is wise and cunning. She uses the word in order to remove the sexist use of the word

Hola. Soy de España. Te puedo confirmar que ella fue la que escribió su letra y su pareja creo que compuso la música estilo 80. La letra es un canto a la tolerancia y a la reivindicación a la aceptación de tod@s las personas sean de la orientación sexual que sea. Ella en su juventud lo paso mal y por eso escribió esta letra.

this song came from Benidorm Fest, that is like a song contest from Spain to decide the song that is going to participate in Eurovision. Zorra in english is like slut, and this song is the perfect example of female empowerment. She is singing about the topics of being a woman and because of that, you have to do what society wants to, and if you don’t do it, you are a ZORRA. For exemple she says: if I have fun i’m a slut, If I extend it and it's daylight, I'm even more of a slut. So practically is a song very powerful and is just iconic in Spain.

Nebulossa is a group formed by Mery the singer and Mark the keyboardist. They are a Spanish couple who have just become known in Spain at the Benidorm festival where the Spanish song for Eurovision is chosen. She is the composer of this song.
