Another top video Ian. Tina the Marina brings up realistic expectations for and older car running to mind. Any car that has regular use will get marks that form part of the journey. Either self inflicted or by discourteous supermarket drivers that use your car as a door stop regardless of where you park. The first blemish is the worst but after that it's more a case of acceptance. Anyway a great report and thanks for sharing.

38:23 my middle brothers best friend's mother had a company supplied Marina to help her in her job as a Ringtons Tea sales person in the late 1970's - within a week of taking delivery of the car and using it to sell and supply tea she opened the boot one morning to find it full of rain water with boxes of tea floating about - the cause: the boot rubber hadn't been fitted at the factory.

Thank you so much once again for a fascinating show! My first ever (hand me down) car was a Triumph 2000 in the same colour as the one at 15:32. And not much better condition. I was 17 and it was 15. I remember in the rust pool at the bottom of the A pillars it grew mustard and cress completely naturally. I leaned a lot from that car, including how to change the head gasket single handed outside in the snow.

Your in-depth knowledge overall , and particularly of the unloved is impressive given most people wouldn’t give these manufacturers the time of day and brush these off. Note to your PR department. How about Hubnut branded underpants for emergency repairs to fuel lines on MOT testing day

Honda Zs in Australia came in a variety of colours. You could get a 360 as well as a 600. The Ns were called Scamps and were quite popular. They were sold in 360 and 600 too. There was also the Honda Life which was a 360cc watercooled car that looked like a scaled down MK1 Civic. They were quite rare, and I wonder if any of them have survived.

Fantastic video. After you showed the pair of Ford Taunus', at 14.30 there's a wide arched 2 door car, which to me looks like a heavily modified 100E anglia/prefect. Is this the Archfab ( i think thats the name) car? Also the Triumph 2000 that needs restoration on the Triumph stand isnt that the first ever one produced as im sure that was the car in Practical Classics magazine. Great show, have been a few years ago, must go again.

Dad also mid 70s bought a brand new C110 Datsun 240KGT don't think they were known as the kenmarie hear he also had another brand new C210 Skyline 240KGT and the C211 facelift version Skyline which were last Skylines sold in the UK for over 30 years. I`m surprised that no one had a Mitsubishi GTO (not the FTO) on display at the show. They were really a nice car and were for a few years, one of the most popular and coolest cars on the market here in Japan. Even inspiring a TV drama with popular actor Takashi Sorimachi who played a teacher called Mr. Onizuka. The name of the drama was GTO like the car and in the drama it stood for 'Great Teacher Onizuka'. Ironically, the car never featured in the drama. Sorimachi was a popular young male handsome actor (in the 1990s) and considered cool, thus the coupling with the car's name. Interestingly enough, a special of this TV drama from the 90s is scheduled for airing on TV next spring under the title of 'GTO Revival'. I only hope that they revive the Mitsubishi GTO!!

Yup. Far too expensive. Then and a hotel/guest house if not from Birmingham. General travel costs and food. Which at things like this is extortionate. £5 for a small tray of chips. £7 for a burger ( wasn't at the NEC, but this is a normal price at the car shows I have been to this year ) so easily £150+ per person
