Great device. I always wanted to buy it from hassan but he just doesn't want to. I can understand that too. I had these devices in 37 inches only with 31 khz. The picture is very good for it via vga in 4:3. I had the 29er plus devices with 15 khz very good picture. No comparison to the bvm 24 or 32 but in 29 inches better than the sony 29er cube with 600 tvlines. I would like to see the 37er plus compared to the mitzubishi eu 42 multisync. I think on the size 37 and 42 it won't be perfect in 15khz but still very good.Unfortunately here in the eu the 37 plus is not to be found.In the usa it's more likely.But whoever looks for it will find it.Great video.

How does it perform as a PC monitor? What resolution/frequency have you been able to push it to?

@@agfa1854 Are you 100% positive? I had heard mentions of 1280x1024 and thought it was as far as it goes. Because damn, as far as an all-in-one solution for 240p, light guns AND retro PC couch gaming, that is a pretty unique proposition...

​@@JimProfit357 as a PC monitor, the XP37 plus has a frequency range of 31-95KHz horizontal and 40-120Hz vertical. It of course also does 15KHz for 240p/480i. It's a one of a kind CRT

I had a Nokia 417TV (SVGA CRT with integrated PAL TV, low radiation MPR2 with 15kHz mode and awesome picture), but it died of a catastrophic design flaw. The +5V regulator LM2940CT of its power supply only turns on when the output pin is not at a negative voltage. When it gets negative by glitch (air moisture?) or surge, it will stay off and so the negative voltage rail keeps it pulled negative which fries all digital chips of the TV part etc. Also the chassis is a nightmare to maintain because the PCB bottom can not be reached without desoldering it from the metal enclosure. Before it died, I had sawed out the metal bottom and replaced with screwed on strong perforated metal to make it serviceable.

CRT monitor 18" HP 9500 viewer has 0.22mm of dot pitch. This monitor is better than your NEC 35" viewer. :P Because your display has 0.85mm - bad. If 35" would have 0.44mm - this is double size than my monitor - very good.
