I know what you mean about the retro cloth figures, I’m not really a fan of these either, I only own a couple...but this one is awesome, all the issues you mentioned about the retro don’t apply with Michael 2018...the other I own is Pamela from FRiday PT 3 lady of the lake...both are killer!!!

Are the legs on your figure loose as well ? I got him yesterday brand new. I don't have any problems standing him but his legs are a little loose.

They're aiming for the Mego style of clothes so it's meant to be oversized, but definitely can look goofy. This one is a little better than most. The Billy Retro Cloth from Silent Night Deadly Night has the best overall fit to the clothes. Nice review overall!

I'll let you in on a little secret about that retro cloth figure they took the first overall suits that James Jude Courtney and Nick Castle War and cut them up and turn them into miniature overall suits for the figures so the fans would have a little piece of Cinema history

@@ChrispyThings I read an article somewhere on Neca's website that they was going to do that they didn't say how much material the overall suits would produce though because they said they was cutting up everything all the way down to the undershirt to help Mass produce clothing for the figure

They always overdue the features on retro figs to the point of caricature status...paint looks great tho

The look of the doll is supposed to be reminiscent of the original mego figures from the 50s and 60s which is why it looks basic underneath the clothing. This is more for nostalgic collectors and the ultimate figures are more for newer collectors.

The mouth does look a little off to me, too. I’m not a fan of the cloth figures. To me it always makes the figure look too puffy.

honestly. i think this one looks far better than the ultimate one. the ultimate's mask is very bad and the leg articulation makes it looks he is wearing a diaper lol.

Mouth too wide and lips too thin. That and latex does not age like flesh. I laughed when I say the mask revealed in the movie. Give me a break... Old man Myers mask. REALLY?

They purposely choose to not make it age realistically lol... have you seen what the original mask looks like now? Sometimes realistic isn't always better
