I think it makes sense for Freddy to wear the glove especially when you are using the head sculpt that has his brain visible. In that scene of the film he was actually wearing the glove. Not only that but the glove is Iconic and it just looks weird when knives come out of his bare hand. I had this movie on tape as a kid. I recorded it off of HBO so this film is the one I have watched the most often.

The humanoid faces on the dogs are supposed to be the two guys Jesse killed as Freddy Krueger. One is coach Schneider and the other is his friend Grady. Also the third head sculpt I believe is the face of Freddy when Lisa's father shot at him and missed. He stared at him with that expression. One thing I hate about these figures are there waste. There is too much of a gap between their legs and it makes them look as if they are wearing diapers sometimes or spandex. I also wonder if there is anybody out there who actually prefers to display Freddy Krueger with the non gloved hand.

It should have came with a stand for the flame. Because the flame was shooting out of a pipe behind him as shown in the movie. I guess it doesn't really matter, I just wish the flame didn't attach to his back.

Nice review Spot. I just got the same one on Saturday. I tinkered with the 🔥 on mine. this is what I did on mine. I took my Dremel with a lil sanding wheel and made the plastic thinner right where the magnet is at. Just a tad tho and now it stays on his back way better. 🤟🏼✌🏼from Denver Colorado

Got this one today. I love this version of Freddy, only complaint is, both alternate heads are sticky and wet looking with some of the paint rubbing off. Still an amazing figure.

The magnet on mine works great. I've never really had an issue of the flame falling off, unless you bump into it. I agree, they should have included a melting Freddy head, other than that, this figure is awesome.

Hahaha just watched your old review of of the Part 2 Freddy like 30 min ago. I just got my Ultimate Freddy from Part 2 today. Love him!!! Kinda wish the magnet were stronger and that the blades weren't such soft plastic (they look wonky all twisted up).

You could use a blow dryer to heat them up for about 10-15 seconds & leave the hand sitting in a small container of cold water with ice for 5 minutes & by that time u pull them out the knives should be straight as they should be 👏😊

The original Freddy looks better ... mostly already the pants look much better and more realistic without spoiling the look of the figure., the sweater is also not so bright colors, in general, the best Freddy figure from NECA

I have a couple really small that yet very powerful magnets that look like hearing aid batteries but thinner. Two of those, side by side worked much better for holding the fire sculpture against his back.

I got the stripe Gremlin & Ultimate 1-1000 very recently as well, seems like every time I stupidly forget how awesome their figures always are, with all three figures I felt particularly impressed with how well painted & sculpted they were. Articulation isn't always astonishing but they usually at least allow you to pose em in the dynamic ways you might recall from the more classic scenes from their films.

John Frossard, I think it depends on how the people at NECA positioned the legs. Some fall and some don't. It happens quite often with most action figures. All my Freddy figures stand perfectly, but I've had a few issues with my Friday the 13th part 3 Jason not standing sometimes.
