Have definitely appreciated Alien 3 more and more over the years - the assembly cut is a massive improvement over the theatrical cut

I passed on this figure when it was in stores. I just got one a few months ago and I was really mad I didn't get it sooner. Easily one of the best alien figures ever made. The likeness is perfect.

Nice to see ya make a video on this. Easily my favorite Xenomorph from Neca. Actually, it's my favorite Xeno in general. Big Chap is a close second for me. This piece just poses beautifully. Joints are nice and sturdy on mine. Sculpt is as shard as you'd expect, too. Really great stuff. I have the Ultimate version of this, and it's kind of a disappointing release as an Ultimate. The extras are cool, but wish there'd be more. You gotta buy the accessory pack for that ;D Be careful with those Covenant bootlegs. It does require doing a bit of research to make sure you'll get an original. Neca has always had a bit of a bootleg problem. I managed to get a genuine Neca Alien Covenant Neomorph a couple years back for a very reasonable price. Was new, too. That one is a great piece, as well. Recommend! Wish I had the Covenant Praetomorph. Footage is 15/10 as always!! Cheers!

I counted. I have 27 NECA alien figures. One of my favorites is the dog alien. I always have it posed in a crouched position. One of the few I can do that to. That and the arachnid alien. I’ve always liked the design of the dog alien.

Oh man, me too! I wish they made it in 1/4 scale and I have never understood why! Like Sideshow not doing a LSB of the Dog Alien! Why? This is my favourite alien design and I’d be all over it.

Alien 3 is one of my favorites out of the franchise. I remember watching in the theater. I like it when it busts from the dog. That whole scene was amazing. Truly love that movie. I know Fincher doesn't like it cause he was fighting with the studio, and then they brought someone else in if I remember correctly to change things. But I still love it

The only reason i did not like Alien 3 was that Ripley did so much to save Newt, Bishop, and Hicks and all was for nothing. Very depressing. And that Ellen was so long in hypersleep that she did not see her daughter grow old and died.

Ya the covenant figure is alot of Chinese fakes on eBay, unfortunately. All of them are locations in China where they are replicated and mass produced. It's surprisingly close, but it's just a stolen mold.

The asymmetry really bothers me, oversized and not very accurate, compare it to the Kotobukiya and it just gets so much incorrect.

My main problem is how big it is compared to neca human figures, but the asymetry doesn't bother me that much, and it's accurate enough for a neca figure 🤷‍♂️
