@HonorableTester the original one, I actually returned it back to toys r us. as for others I had to either use the freezer trick and hair dryer trick to get all the joints back to normal working order

@guaximingox well this is a 2 pack which is a toys r us exclusive, but they are selling regular figures individually packaged. I think those are coming out end of the month

@boeingnz well when i took it apart, I heated it up and i noticed the peg itself is really soft and so is the rest of that joint, that's why I realized that whole joint is just one piece of plastic. But the other arm is different, the inner piece is hard plastic and the other ball part is softer plastic, and that's how I know they were actually 2 pieces and fixed that one arm. I am just totally dumbfounded by why they would make one arm with a non-moving joint while the other arm has a nice 1

@fenrek thanks for the kind words. Yea is basically a reissue of the previous figure, you could be right about the sculpt. I am not too sure hehe

@WebkinzPeacePuppy199 this particular one I got here is from a 2 pack which came more before series 1 of the Gears 3 figures. Series one consists of Marcus, Anya & Carmine. Series 2 got Baird, Cole & Dom. those are all the ones out so far

ok cool, thanks for the info, yea i dont like how they used rubbery joints, cos they also paint them so the paint and the oil and the rubber all stick together and if you force it, the joint would just twist off. not good at all

But if you don't really care for it, I say wait til the single figure version comes out. But if you don't plan on getting the single marcus fig, this 2 pack is cool to pick up

The shoulder ball hinge piece is removable from the bicep piece, if u want to remove it, u will have to sodten up the bicep section first either with a hair dryer or hot water. Be careful tho, cos that shoulder ball hinge piece is also made with softer plaster so if u force it, u do risk ripping the peg piece. If u r trying to losen up and make it turn, best bet is to soften up the bicep and try using a flathead screw driver to losen up the joint. If that makes sense

@Redwolf521 no, not target, they dont really sell neca stuff. Toys r us would pretty much be the only retail store that sells this pack or other neca. Spencers used to sell them but not anymore i think.

@NoelTheMole if it's the shoulder you can try sticking an xacto knife into the slot, that's how I finally figure out that one ball hinge joint. But if other joints are sticking, I suggest putting it in the freezer for an hour and then try turning.

@Zontar82 i thought that was the problem too, but I notice that both parts are made out of soft rubber and it doesnt look like is made out of 2 pieces. Unlike the other arm, one part was made out of hard plastic and one softer rubber. So I dont know what exactly happened there, just disappointing, cos this could have been the perfect figure

@principioyrenovacion thanks for the kind words. If i can only get one, I think I would get Gears 3 Marcus, cos it is newer, and articulation is better than previous ones. Granted that with more articulation means more chances of breaking, but I still prefers gears 3 marcus more. suit is cool, and i really like the look of the retro lancer

@devinodegaard1997 oh, either put it in hot water for a a bit to soften the plastic, or use a hair dryer on hot setting, but be careful how long you have it under the hair dryer, cos you dont want to ruin the plastic

@ggFrenzy you can try using a thin blade or a small glasses type flat head screwdriver and slip it through the joint and you should be able to free up the paint or oil problem that's costing the joint to not move. But do this very very carefully, cos you dont want to hurt yourself. hopefully this works, good luck

@HonorableTester oh yea, I think I know where you are talkin about. That swivel joint is always stiff. I usually heat up that section first and then stick a screw driver (flat heat) in there to try and unstick that section. But you got to be careful tho, cos that peg is made out of softer rubber and there are only 2 thin section connecting the peg with the hinged section so watch where you stick the screw driver

@KingofTheeAZ there are a few out there with this non-working joint, but if you get it at toys r us you can always return it or exchange it if there's a problem. no I dindt hear back from neca, but i heard a few utubers having this same problem. @killervenom2478 is it clay or playdoh? Cos if it's clay it will dry and that might be a pain to get it off, but if it's playdoh, you might try using warm to hot water and you might need a tooth brush to brush out those playdoh. Don't brush it too hard tho.
