Steven, I just got my 2003 neca godzilla figure and decided to use the 2019 V2 godzilla atomic beam part for the 2003 and it's actually a great fit since the 03 has fangs, it isnt loose either!

That is a solid figure. I hope mine shows up soon. I bought the Chogokin Kiryu ‘04 as a companion piece for it. Looks like it’ll scale just right with it.

Im convinced this is the best NECA figure of all time When I got mine, I looked at it from every angle, compared it to the suit and everything. It is pretty much perfect. I swear the one and only problem is the eyes. If the eyes were a little better the entire figure would be flawless. The torso shape actually matches the suit quite well and the feet are really pretty accurate. And the criticisms with the neck are fair obviously, but you can get all the motion you really need with the head and torso, so the weirdness of the neck doesn't really come into use at all.

Every website having NECA Godzilla 2003 was out of stock and I was losing hope til Nightmare Toys was shown having one more of this figure before it goes out of stock. I was able to buy it and finally got it today, and Wow it’s absolutely one of the best NECA Godzilla figures I got

Kinda sucks that Neca is out of the Godzilla figure biz. Seems like their figures got better with each subsequent release. And their price point just couldnt be beat unless you bought vinyl toys with little articulation

I have the hyper maser blast vr and oh my lord. Fav neca figure. The tail is so poseable and it always looks angry which i love. The figure looks movie accurate and to me this fig knocks out the shma 2002 godzilla

i love it it’s a solid figure but the tail is so hard to put on but i think that sos kiryu looks good the articulation is good. but the up piece of the chest limits the articulation of the arms

I know this figure is supposed to be the 2003 design with the scar and the grey spines, but the design of the overall sculpt with the hunched over pose and excess chonk kind of reminds me of the G2K design. I think the sculptor on this figure took too many queues from the wrong movie.

Funny you mention that. Just as I was getting anxious and was about to bite the bullet and order one this week on BBTS, I found one today at Target along with an original Neca KOTM Mothra. They had this one and the vs Biollante Godzilla as well. They mustve just gotten them in because the Neca section at my Target was loaded with these boxes. Talk about lucking out.

Because they don't have it. Playmates is master license holder in the US and NECA interferes with what they do. It's not that PM told them to stop like maroons are parroting, it's that the deal PM made prevents NECA from moving forward.

man you know you could have thrown a Bandai SOS Mothra or your BFE SHMA Mothra Imago in there for some of the size comparisons. :P It is nice, but I am not getting this. I have the 89 one, and that is what I wanted. Too bad NECA is not doing Godzilla anymore. Now we won't get any other monsters. So sad. Their best work finished the line. Which I think perhaps Bandai got nervous as NECA kept getting better and better. When the 62 showed up with no more bendy wire tail, better sculpt and great likeness to the suit, that sent off an alarm at B HQ. Then when Goji 64 came out, they had to be chomping their fingernails. HAH! The 89 when the prototype was most likely sent over for approval, someone probably shot over an email to Bandai with a pic of showing where the competition is headed. LOL! That must have really stirred the pot and then enters Playmates, who will single handily destroy the collector's dreams in the US. LOL!
