I believe that third party figure (products that aren’t made by official sources but of equal or better quality) are fine because at time official sellers really over price their figures like recently there was a shin combiner figure that went for 400$ and it was of REALLY BAD quality for an official product or if you want a good figure of something but there aren’t official sources for it or if the official source is over priced. Now I’m speaking as someone more well versed in transformers so take that a you will but I think I’m fairly qualified to speak on this. Also third party figures don’t actually have any copywriten imagery

That's an entirely different discussion, and this isn't a third party figure. It's a bootleg. 1. That isn't a bootleg, that Shin Japan Hero Universe figure is from Bandai, iirc the boy's division. May have been gashapon. It had a limited release, premium Bandai and AmiAmi. (Edit: to be clear I know you said it isn't a bootleg, just noting a connection with comparison with official product being available in Japan and contributing to price) 2. It wasn't $400. It wasn't distributed in the US so sellers marked it up for their own needed profit. It was closer to 20,000 yen, and the exchange rate it was about $130.

Also the 400$ shin universe thing I was taking about was that 4 character combiner thing of Shin Godzilla, Shin Ultra man, Shin Eva, And Shin common rider.
