I love this winter gremlins 2-pack. I think in the U.S., the other 2-pack is a Target store exclusive, making them a little tricky to get.

I was going to get these guys until I saw them up close. I don’t know why I was thinking the accessories were soft. I did buy a bunch of the ultimate gremlins. I’m making my own clothes for them now.

Well, depends on how much you need the ultimate accessories. After all, you can pull these rubber ones away and still have two Gremlins for the bargain price of at least over here in Germany 40€ for one Christmas 2-pack instead of 30€ for one Ultimate Gremlin. I have two of each Ultimate and Gamer Gremlin (+Stripe), but will not regret having preordered another two of each Christmas sets to bulk up my army at all for that reason. They are still not shipped, so I don't know if I will keep the rubber accessories, but to be truthfully honest, I'm not good with cloth, I can sculpt and mold much better. I'm currently looking for matching puppet accessories at flea markets anyway just to add some more individual touches.

I agree that these figures look great but i think that you may have been less happy with a few hats & scarves on more of the same gremlins figures if you had had to actually pay for these sets 🤷🏻‍♀️

These were taken from the scene in the movie so I'm actually ok with them using the same hats and scarves on existing Gremlins figures because they look all the same in the movie anyways :)

@@TheReviewSpot In Germany one Ultimate Gremlin costs 30€ whilst one of these 2-packs is 40€. Since I do own Stripe and two of each Ultimate and Gamer Gremlin, I rather need more Gremlins for individual mix and match than any more of the same accessories. That's the thing. Both Ultimate and Gamer came with that many accessories, that if not displaying the carolers as from the box, you can easily use a couple of more cheap bare Gremlins to use up the accessories coming with the more expensive packs to display any possible look. Therefore, I've been preordering two of each 2-pack to have both, the carolers and some mix and match, making it an army of 12 Gremlins + Stripe as the leader. Is that necessary? Probably not. But so is hording any figures. And it's not like anyone did expect Neca to sculpt new figures for a holiday special pack, is it? Other than beeing a Christmas novelty at stores, I think it's more a nod to the army builders. I do love my Gremlins and beeing hyped for the Carolers I've been watching Gremlins one time alone in August when I preordered and a weak ago with the girlfriend who saw the movie for the first time and now can relate to why I like these guys so much. She frickin' embraced the flick, so another reason to be a happy chappy.

The Review Spot I understand that but there was a push for collectors to support the line & army build their figures when the ultimate & gamer gremlin came out so a lot of us already have multiples of these & don’t need 4 additional figures. I just think an accessories pack may have been more appropriate in this case 👍🏼

@@kazb1984 As much I do like the idea of future accessories packs, like aerobic or trenchcoat gremlin for instance, I don't think it's going to be a lot more affordable than it would be with a figure from an existing mold. Thing is, they've got to place it in stores and their distributer might not see a "Barbie" potential for Gremlins, so it's gotta be a complete set with figure for a little more money rather than just some expensive gear on its own.

@@TheReviewSpot You did not ask me, but I'd like more affordable statues like Kotobukiya or DC Collectibles for instance. Something between 1/10 and 1/6 is a good scale for me to collect. And I think going deeper into any tat out there for Gremlins, Ghostbusters etc. or even an Alf retro special might be a good thing. You know, stuff that was around anywhere back in the day but is almost forgotten now.
