The addition of a biplane really makes this figure. My older NECA Kong feels incomplete without one now.

Love the second head sculpt! Menacing, angry and looks as if a lot of primal rage is about to be unleashed. Would love to see Neca do the Peter Jackson Kong

Great review! I still hope that another release will include an Ann Darrow figure. Maybe an accessory set with her and an Empire State Building display with a couple more extra accessories. The biplane is an excellent addition to this set though.

Year later - still waiting on something like Skull Island accessory set or T.rex figure… They could’ve added plastic log with some human mini-figures to recreate that log scene, also maybe some rafts for humans and brontosaurus head and neck to simulate it coming out of the water. Maybe even additional Kong head-sculpt, for example tweaked original sculpt. And that classic T.rex… what’s even sadder, that tree bulk from Skull Island Kong figure can actually be seen in promo image for 1933 movie being stuck in Rex mouth (he loved to do it even before King Kong vs Godzilla)

This is an awesome Kong figure. The inclusion of the biplane is the cherry on the cake so to speak. Otherwise, thanks as always Spot for another great video. I really appreciate the hard work!

You can use the open hand and if you raise his arm up you can place the plane in his open hand in the same spot as in the video the thumb goes under the plane and his top finger keeps the tail of the plane from falling. It looks like kong is just about to grasp the plane in the air and you don't have to worry about about forcing the plane into the grabbing hand.

Thanks for the review on this figure. I remember these movies when I was a kid. Black and white lol. It would be awesome if collectors would get in NECAs ear to get a Norm Mac Ddonald figures. Burt Reynolds too. Hell, a whole comedian line from the movies they where in. Samurai John Belushi ?
