Great review. I wish NECA made a 6-7 inch version of this Master Chief or heck even a entire line of halo 4 figures with a similar amount of articulation as this 1/4th scale of Master Chief.

While I'm guessing they do it for articulation, I can't stand how low the Shoulder Pauldrons are on his arms. Exactly like McFarlane's 6 inch Chief figures. Makes him look like he has kiddie swimming inflatables on his arms. They're much higher on the shoulders in game. Any way to remove them and attach them higher if you wanted to?

This figure arrived in the mail today; I ordered this after AnthonysCustoms review and I cannot stress how impressive this figure is. It blow's the Pacific Rim Gypsy Danger figure out of the water with how much more detail they gave to it. If your a Halo fan you absolutely must pick this one up.

I just got mine yesterday and I gotta say he is absolutely awesome! An amazing figure from NECA, also a great in-depth review. Another thing that could have made this better would have been if they added LED lights on the side of the helmet. Overall this guy will definitely make your collection stand out when entering the room.

This is such an awesome figure. I wish Mcfarlane would give up the Halo license already instead of just trickling out the minimum amount of figures they can. Imagine if NECA got the ok to make smaller Halo figures in the scale of their Predator line... that'd be soooo cool.

I just got mine last friday, wanted to put the fist and magnum on it just now, so I needed to change his hands. and then I saw I got 2 identical support hands for his left hands, no trigger hand, and due to the fact the store were I got mine doens't replace flaws like this i'm pretty boned. (small store in the netherlands, they only ordered 3 of these and it's the only store in the coutry where you can get these). Other then that the figure is amazing, incredibly detailed and heavy, downside is my upper torso joint is also stuck.

Quick question for you Anthony, I noticed that on the inner right leg there (looks like it would be leather padding over the honeycomb rubbersuit) its either a paint app error or maybe even a paint scrape. What would you use to touch that up like a flat black, any suggestions would be great.

Mine has a rip/tear on his right hip. I'm trying to see if Anthony's Master Chief has the same. Does anybody know if this is a defect or if its design that way??? I think I might return and exchange mines

I think it would be cool to have a PAK batman beyond but with like a shiny metallic armour that's black with a bit of grey and has that cool red cape and rocket boots that were in the 1999 tv series

I use baby oil to loosen all my stuck joints. It works pretty well, try it.

torchwoodzrw I just got my hands on both, both of which are gorgeous, but what do you mean by MC being better? In my opinion, MC is way "better" because he just catches the light SO perfectly, and Batman is all grey and black. Plus MC has considerable weight, which is awesome

I noticed you had somewhat of a running pose going on with the pistol, I dig that. (I don't suppose you have a full body shot of that?) Was gonna ask if the Halo 4 cover was a possibility, but I assume the legs are a little too limiting for something like that. (or, well, to get it to look as nice as the cover. I'm sure it can be done, given the way the legs swivel and such at the hips.) Great review, I pre-ordered one from BBTS.

I’m way late to the party here. Been catching up on all your Master Chief reviews, trying to decide which rendition to pick up. This one is still for sale on Amazon for $158. Still worth it in your opinion? Or is there something else out there now I should look at? I wish threezero would make one along the same lines as their titanfall series.

***** Look at the crotch piece. Then look to the left above it where its nothing but the black undersuit I'm not sure if you'll notice but the paint there is lighter and has a different texture.

Hey, Anthony. Great job on your videos. I was recently watching your Child's Play charity original of cloaked Chief. I think it's a great looking piece. You executed on the cloak very well, and I have decided to make my own cloak for the NECA full size chief. I'm having quite a bit of trouble making the hood. Ok cool. Yeah, I got a thin suede material that seemed acceptable at first but the more I see yours, this material is better suiting as in the teaser. I think I cut my fabric wrong for my larger NECA chief. I literally cut out large circles, then a cut out in the center to simply drape it over. Yours seems to drape straight up and down better conforming to his shape, whereas mine sort of flares out and folds in places because of the circular cut-outs. Hopefully I can make a better one this time. Thanks again!

My only complaint about this figure is that the assault rifle does not have the ammo counter.

Take a fine point Sharpie to gently fill in the ammo count screen (run the marker across the screen in rows for a clean look. Then take an extremely fine point White-Out pen and neatly mark in '32' (or other writing utencil). Whatever you think is good for you. Use pictures for reference.

If they really wanted him to be 1/4 scale then they should've made him 21 inches(1 foot 9 inches) tall, and as an added bonus to realistic scaling make him weigh 250 lb(1/4 scale weight). Lol

Ah. It just seems that you have ALOT of Master Chief dedicated stuff. But no prob. It's the same with me and Assassins Creed. One question though - do you get your figures depending on the way they're made? Like, did you get the Master Chief with the big cloak just for the cloak? Or were you hoping the Master Chief would be a little different. In case you don't follow, do you get different versions of the figure if here are little differences?
