I have the original night cougar alien :D it has a gimmick with the parasite.. it's not magnetically attached like this one is but slots inside a hole on the xenomorphs back between it's shoulder blades.. there's a spring inside the hole and the gimmick works by pressing down on the xenomorph's shoulders which would make his front legs (or are they arms) extend forward so he would lean down and fire the parasite forward... it's a fun figure :D

I love the regular movie Xenos since I love the franchise, but this kind of stuff is what makes it so interesting, and I think the Kenner and video game type designs are some of the coolest things to come out of the franchise. The way the aliens work leads to so much creativity and imagination to work some new stuff out of the already fantastic creature design of the OGs. These are so fun and I love mixing them in with the rest of the bunch. I can’t get enough of this side of the line

Must be the first time I hear the movie Alien designs called "boring". 😁 I focus on the boring versions and have no nostalgia for Kenner's oddities. Still, these crazy variants are rather fun. This one can even do a little dance apparently, so props to that!

For some reason, I always thought of panthers as black and cougars as beige/brown. So these guys are sort of funny with the names to me as I feel they're the other way around :p Good review!

It’s unique for sure but I have a a couple of issues with mine. The right elbow on mine a bit loose so I have to mess around with it to make it stay on all fours without it leaning. I don’t know if mine is the only one with this issue but the thighs won’t swivel. I did dip it in hot water and still nothing. Not a bad figure but for the price it came with, I feel like I’m not getting enough for what I payed for.

Thinking about picking this one up for the ”Dead By Daylight” collection of mine. (i know ”this” isn’t the version of the Xeno we see in the game, but it doesn’t really matter that much) Also i do like atleast the first Alien movie (the only one i have seen). But i really have always loved the Xenomorph’s design

I have the black and the blue xenomorph, the rest are kenner/arcade. I'm not super into aliens, so the price hike on these ones ($40) has priced me out of their market unless they end up on sale somewhere.

@asd Yeah, I just picked this up from Target and I was shocked at how small this thing is for $40. I don’t think there is nearly enough plastic for the amount they are asking. Not a bad figure, but nothing really new. Kinda wish I waited for this to be like $25 on Amazon.

I have the Kenner Midnight Cougar and panther figures and these are definately a big upgrade on them. I saw anther reviewer get the panther and the leg joint broke on him which has me worried on hos thing the legs are. I need ot get these space kitties for sure they lok so cool and cute rawer 😺
