As Sulu might say "Oh myyyy"! What a great "Alien" collection you have! You were brutal on this guys price point, really thought you'd give him a 5/5. Hope you showcase your whole "Alien" collection someday.

Thanks, Marc! I absolutely plan on it, for sure. It's one of my favorite collections.

@@5POAFigureReviews Yes, please do! My favorite collection is Mattels Justice League Unlimited, but my prize collection is Kenners Super Powers. Lately I've just been buying certain McFarlane DC Directs and his Batman 66, figs.

You're right, even with the magnet, the price isn't up to previous releases. The Rhino is really cool looking, I hope to get one soon. Do you think having something a little less detailed as this one is the way of Neca not raising the prices as other brands?

Oh believe me, NECA has raised prices. At least where I live, Ultimates are up $5 from what they were a year ago, with these new Alien figures even more. For comparison, I got the AVP What If wave I reviewed a few months ago at Walmart for just $30 each. This was $40 for essentially the same amount of plastic as the Arachnoid that I compared the Panther to. It's even more frustrating because they released the Night Cougar, which is just a palette swap of this one, at the same time, doubling their money on the same mold. That said, there is a principle in business called Shrinkflation, where companies give you less without telling you and charging you the same. So it's possibly a bit of both. But in this case, it's really just price increasing. I do feel that the quality is the same and has not at all diminished.

@@5POAFigureReviews okay, that's cool to know, thanks for all the explanation! I'm just getting started on a few NECA figures (I have only bought 3 and only have one in hand) as they're hard to get where I am and it's good to know all this about them!
