This might be a stretch but I really hope they’ll make a Vastatosaurus Rex. That one is seemingly popular among some of us Kaiju and dinosaur fans so really a lack of figures today is kinda a bummer (even though there is Rebor’s Vanilla Ice, but still)

Considering og Kong is supposed to only be 40 feet tall, unless the Godzilla figures are huge, I doubt this Kong is to relative scale. Sadly, I don't own a NECA figure, so I've no clue how big they normally are.

I thought they said this was going to be their own take on King Kong, hence why he shares aspects of multiple versions of the character, specifically the original & skull island versions Also he's apparently 7-8 inches Probably looks good with some of the bigger Goji figures Could have a nice David vs Goliath vibe if put up against the right figure

Really hoping NECA has more Kaiju figures in store for us. They don't have the license for GvK toys, so expect a drought in terms of any Godzilla figures from them for a while (after the releases of the acid attack Biollante Godzilla and the lightning attack S.O.S. Godzilla)

Only nitpick I have is its size. It's put in the 8 inch scale, which would make it taller than every NECA Godzilla figure except the 24 inch long 2014 figure. Otherwise, I'm very excited about this.

This doesn't really look like the 1933 King Kong imo. It looks more like the 2017 Kong with the head of the 1933 King Kong. But it still looks cool.

Why have they not done a closed mouth (or even grinning) head, thats really disappointing, the super open mouth looks like his jaw is broken. Its a shame it isn't closer to the original stop-motion puppet in design or that you get a replacement hand with a Fay Wray figure in it. I'm glad that Necca are doing it as it might make newer fans of their range check out the original film, but the O'Brien and Harryhausen in me is screaming at how "inaccurate" it is as a toy :-(

JapaneseGiant Lizard1234 that would make no sense for three big reasons 1.theres no reason to think the films are connected 2.gwangi was in the Wild West and the meat eater was on a island in the pacific so yeah doubt those two are related and the biggest of all 3. gwangi is a allosaurus while the meat eater is a t-rex

While I'm cool with the Mezco King Kong Figure this one BTW bbts1.azureedge.net/images/p/full/2018/06/d4765af5-544d-4228-873c-071f20ae53d4.jpg I'm kinda digging this one here about the design, while it supposes to be the 33 looks even though it's brown much like Legendary Though to be fair Legendary used the 33 Kong's look for Monsterverse Kong so it kinda full circle ^^ Now I'm hoping for a Neca Meat-Eater and Gorosaurus figure.
