Well, NECA is still making TMNT figures - Bebop and Rocksteady will be released - so hopefully we will get Splinter and April O'Neil eventually. A Baxter Stockman fly figure would be cool too.

My set arrives this week! Super excited, but hard to believe NECA STILL has not addressed their freaking stuck joints. And that IS a big deal because you absolutely should NOT have to put a hair dryer on the joints just to be able to pose them around without fear of them snapping.

Well done on this review! I was blessed to be able to get this set and WOW! The paint apps, sculpts, accessories and packaging on this set is PHENOMENAL! A true love letter to TMNT fans. For the good of the fans, come on Playmates, work with NECA or just give them the 6" TMNT License!

I see you got a googly eyed Raphael in your set too. Neca shit the bed large on quality control with Raph's eyes. This is epidemic across many many of these sets. Cookie Monster Raph I call him or Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Other than that, and also how brittle some of the parts are and also the need to boil and loosen some of the really stuck joints, it's a great set.

Two of my turtles had messed up eyes. Reached out to Neca as they are usually good with this. I got this response "I do apologize. We aware of the ongoing issues with your TMNT set, we are currently compiling the information and are working on a solution. Please allow us some time and we will get back to you shortly with a resolution."

Amaar Shahid considering how cheap they are compared to their competition, stuck joints are an easy annoyance to get over. Just put a little heat on them for a moment, and they are fine.

Excuse my ignorance since I never really followed TMNT besides the 03 cartoon, are the foot soldiers arms supposed to be that long?

Dr LoveBox Yes. The original cartoon Foot Soldiers were robots(wich is why they have the big head) and were quite tall and slumped over.

Did you notice that Shredder's torso is asymmetrical? It doesn't look bad it's just an odd choice. Also, his torso armor is a glued on rubber piece over what looks like a sculpted upper body. Maybe we'll get a Casey Jones in the future sharing the same parts.

I just received my Donnie/Krang and Leo/Shredder sets (European release) and overall I’m happy but on both turtles the twist ties were wrapped so tight that there is an actual indent on their chests which is probably permanent. And Shredder’s helmet sits too high on his head which is probably fixable but I’m not willing to risk breaking an otherwise great figure.

Outside of video games and movies I'm down to only collecting Masterpiece G1/Beast Wars Transformers. However, I'm really hoping I can eventually find this set for a decent price. I absolutely love the design and paint work, especially the paint work. These really remind me of the Masterpiece style figures from Takara and other 3rd party companies. In both cases, the figures look like they jumped straight off the TV screen and onto our shelves. These NECA figures look absolutely amazing!

The SH Figuarts turtles are superior in pretty much every way, no question about it (I own a Figuarts Leonardo and also this pack). But this pack costs about the same as the 4 Figuarts figures, and you get 8 - plus the NECA aesthetic is really cool and unique (1st season looks), you get a Krang and the best Shredder figure out there, and it's an exclusive, which is a nice bonus and gives it a good resell value.

clauricaune i know those are old comments but i still had to say something...first of all, the NECA figures are absolutely amazing, they are much more accurate to the cartoons turtles, color wise and sculpt wise too. The SH turtles are cool but they are not worth the price they are asking, all you get is better articulations..and thats pretty much it! They dont have as much details in the paint like the NECA turtles has, also the SH diecast legs are a problem, they can get scratched very easily and the paint on the legs can get damaged because of that, which its a big problem imo Anyway, is perfectly fine if you prefer the SH turtles, but dont say they are superior in every way to the NECA versions because its not true at all, youre completely missing out on the NECA turtles, they are much much better than you think, and in my personal opinion they are much better than the SH turtles since im always look for accuracy, and SH turtles are not accurate to the cartoons compared to NECA’s turtles Again, im sorry for the very late comment, i just had to give my opinion on that subject lol
